There are two free trial versions of SQL Server Database Monitor: an ISO image and a pre-configured VMware virtual appliance. Choose a version from the list below, then click Continue to register and download the software.

After you install SQL Server Database Monitor, you must configure it to capture traffic from your physical or virtual network. See the ISO image and VMware appliance installation instructions for details. To understand how the system works, see the technology and architecture overview.

Once installed, SQL Server Database Monitor begins monitoring your network traffic immediately.

Download the ISO image to install SQL Server Database Monitor, and its underlying operating system, onto a standalone PC or server, or into a virtualised environment other than Hyper-V.
